No reason to be concerned. Many others like myself also still waiting for background check! Have you seen any movement on your tracker?

Yeah you are right! I don't think it works the same way for everyone! My friend got her background check after her test result. I don't see any movement on my tracker tho!

Has anyone from July application submissions gotten their test invite? I see a lot of June applicant that are already receiving their test invite; I am averaging around a month to a month and a half since their AOR and background check (I am considering only people with Background check completed immediately after AOR), and their test invite email?

Seems that there is a lot of June applicants which makes me think that 80000 applicants it shows in August is actually from June, that oils explain why August and July applicants were taking 45-75 days to get AOR while June and before were taking 5-30 days to get AOR.


I think the 80k spike is based on application creation date which is AOR date rather than received at.


Again if this is true, I guess more test invites has to keep going out for June applicants before we see invites for us.

I think those checks (LPP) happen after the test

I dont think so. I called ircc and they said my background is half done and just waiting on security. I didnt get test invite though so maybe background check gets fully done befire invite?

Maybe ! I’ve got background check done but Language, Physical Presence, and Prohibitions haven’t started yet

You can try to call IRCC or submit a webform requesting status update, it wouldn’t hurt your application.

I think most of the July applicants had received their AOR in Aug/Sep , I think you should call IRCC to enquire whats going on. Did you check your IBOX/junk emails whether IRCC tried to contact you?
