With your CRS score and the inability to get a WP from within Canada you should have really returned home and waited there. Much less expensive and eliminates concern that you are working illegally in Canada.

I got approval of my closed work permit for 2 years. Passport stamped. Now planning for return to Canada early next month to resume my work. I will have to do everything possible for increasing my current crs 469. Will learn French and retake English test to maximise the points. Looks difficult
Unless in healthcare, you will want to become fluent in French.
Hi all, my PR support LMIA was submitted on June 25, 2024. It is still in queued assessment. Should I untill to wait, or applying new Dual intent LMIA under other employer? My work permit already expired in June, and WP refusal in Sep, I acknowledged that I have to get positive LMIA before restoration status and if it came later than that time, I have to apply work permit outside Canada.
What is a dual intent LMIA? You need a LMIA with employer paying the fees. Should be high wage. You cannot restore status anymore because more than 3 months since expiry. Assume you change status to visitor.
I had also applied for PR supportive LMIA in June 24. Got approval on July 25. It took more than one year
After getting LMIA, I applied for work permit. The same has been approved. I will get actual work permit on arrival to Canada.
Ok because a PR support LMIA is no longer "a thing" as all employers must pay the fees and no points for LMIA.
