Checking about this new $100k rule for H1B guys who commutes daily from Canada by road with stamped visa…will they get affected at border after 21nd Sep?

May want to ask on a US immigration forum but believe if on H1B then may not want to leave US or not be allowed re-entry. Talk to your HR department.

Believe all employees are recommending people enter the US asap and plan on remaining.

Talk to your company lawyer but seems like you cannot enter starting tomorrow unless you pay $100k to enter. This seems to include current visa holders. So don't leave the US.

So it has been updated but you leave and re-enter at your own discretion. Talk to your company lawyer.

Guys, whoever still traveling from Windsor to Detroit while on H1B, anyone face any difficulties at POE if any docs ask regarding wage etc with that new law passed last weekend or it’s still smooth for existing H1B. Please share your experience.
