Just completed our Oath Ceremony! Very special moment, and we are proud to call ourselves Canadians!!!!
Thanks to everyone for the guidance and help over the past 5 years, and big thanks for @armoured for your help on this part of the road.

The journey is almost at an end. Sent our signed Oath forms back straight after the ceremony, awaiting e-certs now.

I thought you are gonna advise us regarding the e-certificate invitation email. I am in same boat didn’t receive invitation email.

Have you asked this question with official as you mentioned?
What’s the Subject you use when you send signed form back?
Did you reply the same email thread you received for invitation or create separate email.
How long the ceremony last?

They said they sent out the instructions 24-48 after the oath on how to download it.
They will tell you, but it’s just the name of the officer who admits you into the ceremony.
There is an email listed in the oath invite that you sent the oath form too.
It lasted about an hour.

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application for Canadian citizenship on March 7th and received my AOR on March 27th. Since then, I haven’t received any updates—no test invitation, nothing at all.

Is this normal? Do you think I should just wait, or is there something else I can do? I’d really appreciate your suggestions and advice.

Thanks!
You should reach out to IRCC or your local MP asap. this is not normal. At the very least you should have received a test invitation.

Congratulations! Now, the passport and it’s a wrap!

Looking forward to mine tomorrow! :D

I've never checked the status of my children's applications. They're minors and attached to one parent.
Have you got everything completed and received Oath invitation.
I understand they are attached to a parent but they do have their own tracker. When does it get updated or does it ever get updated?

My understanding is that the trackers for linked minors basically don't get updated - ignore those.

congrats! Looking at your timeline you had almost no updates between mid May and August when everything turned green for you. Did you do anything in between? Last update my wife and I got was back in mid July - nothing since :(

Completed my oath this morning. Very special feeling, indeed! Emailed back the oath form immediately, now waiting for the certificate download instructions so I can download and apply for my passport!

Thanks everyone for all the support and good luck to everyone still waiting!

I just finished mine now and didn't realise that the Email doesn't have the "save your pdf as this" naming convention.

Can you tell me what it was supposed to be?

It was like "Oath form, September 18th, something, something"
A google shows some people are putting the clerks initials in the pdf name?

Please let me know what you used. I might need to travel soon for work.....

Congratulations!

For the subject of the email, I used ‘Oath form for [application number], [family name]’

In the body of the email though, I included the name of the agent.

For the pdf attachment, I originally named it ‘oath form for (my name)’.

That’s it.

I think as long as you include your application number and family name in the subject, it should be fine.

It's interesting they didn't seem to have a proper protocol for this. In the oath letter it says subject line should be "Oath form for [application number], [family name]", but in the oath meeting, the admin told us multiple times we only need to put our agent's name in the subject line and nothing more. I put "Oath form for [application number], [family name]" in the body of the email and subject line was simply agent's name.

After I hit send I thought maybe it wasn't a good idea to do that. I did my oath on Sept 16th, I received the instructions on how to download email the day after, but the e-cert is not available on the website yet (it says Your e-Certificate is not available. Please try again 2-5 business days after you provided your signed Oath of Citizenship.)

I have a trip in 15 days and I really need this e-cert now :(
