This is a Family class sponsorship section. Not a student section. BTW you committed misrepresentation by not disclosing the US Visa rejection, and you will likely not be able to overcome that!

Need some urgent guidance. I am confused about the email and document I received for my spousal application. I am representative of my spouse and I got the email stating:

After a preliminary review of your application, the following has been deemed required:

Please provide the current residential address for yourself and your dependent family member (if applicable). You
Must report any changes to your address, telephone number(s), and email address immediately throughout the processing of your application.

How to provide these, what document should I include? My wife is not living in Canada and during my application, I used my Canadian address as my mailing address and residential address is of my wife where she lives.

Anyone can guide me with this, i would really appreciate it.

Just respond (however indicated) by providing clearly your factual place of residence (and mailing address if different) and your spouse's. If you must use a separate mailing address for either, specify clearly.

Thank you so much for the reply.
Should I just add a letter of explanation stating my spouse's residential address and my mailing address because I am the representative? Secondly, while submitting these information, should I just raise the web form and select the add document section?

If they provided instructions, do that. If not, webform.

We have been waiting patiently since almost 5 years for my husband's spousal visa application to be processed but to no avail. have done several gcms notes and called ircc customer services but every time we just get the same answer "please be patient, your file is under process and you will be informed if any information is further needed". in oct it will be exactly 5 years. We got a refusal once in feb 2023 but we won our appeal and its been more than 2 to that as well. Note: according to the GCMS notes there is nothing wrong or missing in the file and even the appeal allowed letter it clearly states that if the case should have gone to trial, we would still have won the case as they IRCC counsel found our case to be genuine and nothing misleading in it.

I am listing our timeline below and wondering if anyone could help us by advising what shall we do:

Do you have a lawyer? Speak to that lawyer.

At this point, I'd think mandamus is warranted. There's clearly something going on.
