Hi everyone, just to update my above comment. I recieved a virtual oath ceremony which is too bad as we thought we had request an in person one.

At the end of the day it is what it is.

FWIW, I had one family member request an in-person (no explanation required other than 'want an in-person ceremony'), in which physical certificates were issued. Requesting it right away - only added about 2-3 weeks (I just don't recall), IRCC acted on it quickly; this was in the GTA though and that may have had something to do with availability.

No movement since May 8, 2025. Requested an ATIP on September 9, let’s see.
