Hi everyone, just to update my above comment. I recieved a virtual oath ceremony which is too bad as we thought we had request an in person one.

At the end of the day it is what it is.
Sorry to hear that.

FWIW, I had one family member request an in-person (no explanation required other than 'want an in-person ceremony'), in which physical certificates were issued. Requesting it right away - only added about 2-3 weeks (I just don't recall), IRCC acted on it quickly; this was in the GTA though and that may have had something to do with availability.

Last time I called, the agent confirmed that my request for GCMS is still pending. She simply advised me to just wait. grrr
There's an ombudsman, I believe, to whom you can complain, and your MP. They're at least supposed to advise you that they're taking an extra 30 days, and that 60 days the limit.

Just received my ATIP notes, which if I've read correctly, say that they haven't even started looking at LPP (pending since March). What are the relevant sections? I can post here to decipher what's going on which may be relevant to other Dec/Jan applicants who are waiting for LPP @armoured

I personally don't believe the 'not started' flag. I could be wrong. But it seems it's a flag (a 'bit') that is mapped variously to English in IRCC usage.

I think more significant is when something changes (the flag being flipped).

But just my opinion and I cannot 100% confirm what it means.

To underline though: what a database flag 'means' in terms of actual current usage of the database is not necessarily what it seems to mean to outsiders (ie. in normal English). This can happen when they change procedures from what was originally intended in usage of that flag, or flags that were intended to be used for something in future, and then they never implemented those features / used it for something else and didn't change the terminology.
