Once you receive Biometrics request letter that shows your application number and UCI number if your spouse's first application is this then I would suggest create a gc key account and login and then try to link an existing application with UCI and application number provided in your medical letter and biometric then you will be successfull to link your application. Also, you can create application status tracker account as well

Hi All 
Is the AOR the application number? or UCI? Or would we not have those two numbers without the AOR? I'm super confused about the timeline. My husband has done his medical exam and biometrics, but we haven't received anything that specifically says AOR on it. Application date was July 10th. Thanks!

Thanks!Once you get your Biometrics letter or medical request letter you will se UCI number and application number for your husband as Principal applicant in that letter. You dont need to worry about as per my knowledge as once separate UCI is showed then your application has been started somewhere as per my knowledge.Hi All

- This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on date on behalf of the following member(s): principal applicant name.
If you have authorized paid representative than He will receive this AOR letter I'm not sure. And as you said your consultant have forwarded your AOR then if should be fine.
