I just submitted mine and it felt shockingly easy, especially after the intensity of a PR application. My opinion is they do the most vetting during PR anyway, so they just want to make sure you haven't done anything since getting your PR that would disqualify you for citizenship. I just answered the questions and provided files where they asked. Unless they later request more info, I am personally deciding not to worry about it.
Hi, how has your application progressed since? Did they ask for more documents, specially the passport pages?

Hi, I just posted an update on the previous page! No ADRs or fingerprints needed for my application, so far it's been quick and straightforward.

Hi Guys,

Can anyone help me with this info

I want to apply for Citizenship for me and my wife.

I got my PR via express entry in 2019 and then I took IELTS in 2017. My wife got her PR via spousal application .

For Citizenship proof for my wife, can I upload her bachelor’s degree certificate from India, and she is working in IT for last 10 years both in India and also in Canada combined, any of this would help for language? Did anyone did this personally and worked?

For myself, I don’t know how I can retrieve my IELTS results from 2017?

Any info would be helpful

Thanks

As per https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-get-a-replacement-for-my-lost-IELTS-test-result-form and https://ielts.org/organisations/ielts-for-organisations/verifying-ielts-results the best bet is to contact the centre that you took the test from and see if they can find a copy.

If you took it online then it appears that this is not possible as the head org appears to only provide copies up to two years max, and only verifies copies up to three years max, and there is no local centre that might still retain a copy.

Instead, the other option here might be to see if IRCC has a copy, if you send it to them in the past. (Which you almost certainly did for Express Entry.) If you want to try that, this is how you'd make the request - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...rmation-privacy/requests-information-act.html (You'd be asking for a copy of the IELTS results that you submitted as a supporting doc for your Express Entry PR application back in 2019 or whenever you first responded to the ITA.)

I'll note that the phrasing of "I got my PR via express entry in 2019 and then I took IELTS in 2017" is a bit odd, as grammatically it implies that you got PR first and then took IELTS later, but the dates suggest that you took IELTS before getting PR. I'm going with the dates here (in which case what was probably meant was something along the lines of "I got my PR via express entry in 2019 after I took IELTS in 2017")

But if either 2019 or 2017 is a typo (say you got PR in 2016 actually) then this might not help as the future IELTS results probably didn't go to IRCC.

On an average how much time its taking for online applications to complete till oath ceremony?
You can check over at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html though I don't think they split out online from paper applications. But the vast majority are online ones so I doubt the data is skewed much.

There's a tracker at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...-zPb3LnoyY/edit?gid=1181391563#gid=1181391563 that's on the very first page of this thread that should also help give you an idea regarding timelines.

Edit: And a second tracker at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...-zPb3LnoyY/edit?gid=2093304809#gid=2093304809 from the other thread, https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...s/april-2025-citizenship-applications.869093/
