A question when you all say Ghost Update do you mean that you get an email or you just see the Last Update status change on tracker? Asking because my PR was done by my employers lawyer and i didn't have any portal access nor i got any emails.

Thanks for replying! My AOR is from June 11 but ya, nothing yet. I am assuming that the process has slowed down after the elections, as someone in this group mentioned. We can do nothing but wait.

Called the RCMP regarding the FP status; they mailed the report to the CPC Sydney on July 22. Hopefully, by next week there will be some movements on the tracker

AOR is taking about 28+ days

Submitted for my minor son May 5th 2025 and still no AOR. Been much longer then 28 days

From what I’ve observed, IRCC was really quickly processing the citizenship applications and all of their focus was on it before elections. Since the elections, they’ve slowed down significantly. For example, the AOR time used to be a 7-14 days and now it is 30-45 days. You can double check it by going to forums from Jan-Mar 2025.

I'd agree, my wife got her citizenship within 4 months in 2023. We applied for her son who is a minor in May of this year and still no AOR

the may applications seems to be moving slowly.. I am checking once in a week or sometimes in 2 weeks but the timelines seems to be slow across.
is it the citizenship process itself is moving slowly now compared to 2 months back?

Im also wondering If I should book for a November/december vacation or wait to not have a changed citizenship by then?
