Got FP request today, no tracker update but received the request email.

Tracker updates will take time. My first update on tracker was almost 1.5 months after receiving AOR. Be patient, it is a long ride.
Exactly, that’s the point. Be patient – it’s a long ride. Sometimes we get anxious when there are no updates for months, but there’s really nothing we can do. We’ve already spent years waiting for PR, so a couple more months for citizenship is nothing in comparison. Patience is the mantra
A medium of instruction letter is crucial for processing Indian university education credentials. Native english speaking countries don't face this issue. I understand it is quite normal to have such a timelineMy question here is for Language Proficiency Requirement - I submitted my graduation and post graduation degree (both are from India - Panjab University and Kurukshetra university respectively). None of these say that the medium of education is English but are written in English. Also my post secondary (10th & 12th) certificates which have my subjects mentioned. Will I be still asked to appear for CELPIP and submit the score card. My worry is this may delay the entire process. Thanks.
Before the elections, people were getting citizenship within three months. It'll take time for everyone to adjust to the new reality where processing times could extend to a year. Calling is just a temporary measure to soothe your nerves.
True, calling might calm our nerves for a bit, but honestly, we don’t really gain any extra info apart from what’s on the tracker. At least for me, after spending a couple of years waiting for PR and now a couple of months for citizenship, this wait feels like nothing. PR status is already established, so there’s really no need to get anxious if it’s 2 weeks late or even 2 months late. I feel it’s better to stay relaxed and let them process our files, and at least this way the phone lines stay free for people who genuinely need to call IRCC for urgent issues beyond just checking status updates.
I am sure some of us have personal or professional urgency to get it. E.g. My employer wants me to move to US for now he is letting me continue to work from Canada. I am not able to apply for certain positions which require Canadian citizenship. The main advantage of the Canadian passport is TN visa. Don't get me wrong i have strong ties like a property but having the passport help. Especially with the layoffs going around. but as you said its not in our hand. I mean we did the best we could and all have gotten AOR's
Ghost update is when your tracker shows an updated date but no real updates are seen in the tracker.
