Hello Guys! yesterday I checked my GCKey account and it was showing profile updated - Latest Update - Final Decision July 08, 2025 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Is this a good sign? I'm a bit confused because of it showing final decision but also application in progress, what does this mean? Thank you!

Today I review my IRCC account and also is showing the same. I found out that backgroud check pass from "Not applicable" to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

2025/02/27 - Request Police Record on my home country

2025/02/28 - EXT Letter (implicis status on my BOWP)

2025/03/03 - Appoitment for Biometrics

2025/03/03 - Submission of Police Record thorught homecountry agency

2025/03/06 - Request Medical Examen

2025/03/26 - Appoitment for Medical Examen at Prima Montreal (Downtown)

2025/04/02 - You passed your medical examen

2025/07/15 - Background pass from "Not applicable" to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

It has been 70 days since VMF was approved, still no update for final decision. Would you recommend to apply for GCMS notes?

Feb 24th - AOR +BIL
Feb 27th - Biometrics Completed
March 21st - Pre-Arrival Services + Passed Upfront Medical Exam
April 1st - Final Decision - "Your application is in progress"
April 23rd - Received P1 (outside of Canada - paused process until June 29th)
June 29th - Answered P1 letting IRCC know I was back in the country
July 10th - P2
July 16th at 11:25p.m. ET - eCoPR
