After I submitting PR after getting the positive decision from my refugee claim, is it possible to apply the visitor visa for my spouse and kid to come Canada while their PR applications (outside Canada) are in the process with mine??? Seeking the valuable advise. Thank you.

You can try but good chance they will be refused because most are not genuine visitors.

Hi guys, Does anyone know a person who applied in 2024 for PR as a protected person and has received their PR in ? When I ask lawyers, many of them say that most people receive their PR within 18 months.
So, those who applied in January should have received their PR by now, since it has been 19 months.
When I mention that the processing time is 28 months, they say that this is just an average and doesn’t apply to everyone.
Please let me know if you know anyone who applied in 2024 and has already received their PR.

My lawyer got it in her email..
Yes it says eligibility is completed..
But I haven't received anything since then.. 2 months past now
Did Your lawyer give you eligibility letter?
What did your lawyer tell about the time that you will receive pr?
We are in the same boat almost, I applied on February, 2024. I received my pre-arrival and eligibility in April this year. Nothing changed since then. The processing time according to today's date is 28 months, it was 32 months couple of weeks ago. I would say, we need a long nap. Some people are getting early those who are under any program, I know a guy who received PR within 16 months, on his GCMS note he found his application considered as special program.
