Guys, I got an ADR asking me all pages of the Passport which I have already uploaded... This time they are asking blank pages as well...
They also mentioned : Passport(s) and travel document(s) stamps that are not in English or French must also be translated.
Did anyone receive such an email? And how did you guys translate? Is there any government services for this translation?
I have a couple of non English/French stamps, from Mexico and Dominican Republic.
-Of course others have received these. You supply all including blank pages. (Scan of course if electronic)
-Translations: we did not provide, making a judgment that the stamps were all 'EU style' (or few exceptions) with airport name, a symbol representing in or out, date, and something that indicates country. (We had both Mexico and DR and I think they were the same format, but I'm not certain). In other words, the stamps had precious little that could be translated - in my opinion. We didn't explain or justify this.
-as another poster noted, if it's in more than one language and one of them is english/french, not needed.
I cannot say whether this will work for others, if we got lucky, or what exactly the situation is. Once in a while we have seen IRCC come back and insist on having all the stamps translated. Personally I'd bet dollars to doughnuts almost any IRCC staff with brain stems could figure out a spanish-language passport stamp without translation.
Now in terms of what I'd *recommend* - I'd recommend getting them tranlsated to avoid trouble. If it's only a couple stamps it shouldn't cost much. You don't need to have other pages of passport certified copies or whatever, just scans.
