Digital Photo - Post ITA questions

hello,

photo requirements are confusing.
i got a digital copy of the photo but with 5cm x 7 cm from a studio and 2 hard copies with studio information in the back.
Now i read in the forum than photo must be at least 35x45. Does this mean that my 5x7 photo is acceptable ?
i measured the face dimensions of my photo from chin to top it's about 35mm.
has anyone submitted the 5x7 format and got accepted ?

how can i proceed ?

here is the detail of the digital photo i used :

As you can see in your cic account, they ask for these requirements :

• Image size: at least 420 x 540 pixels.
• We accept JPEG or JPEG2000 format.
• File size: approximately 240 kB, no more than 4 MB.
• Image must be in colour (24 bits per pixel) in RGB colour space, the common output for most digital cameras
• ...

i would stick with these number.
you can wait to get other answer, i am not an expert. All i can assure you is that all these photo requirements are a mess and are confusing

I got my digital photo but the size is 413*531 instead of 420*540 as per the requirement. Is this gonna be an issue?

Hello Im on the same boat now.... the properties of my digital photo are around 413 x 530....

Hi Guys. I would like to ask. What is the correct Digital ID Photo size? I see inside the ITA submission document list section it's 35 mm x 45 mm but in the Permanent Residence Photo, it mentioned 50 x 70mm.

Please advise

Hi, so you used 50x70mm digital photo for the post ITA documents? Did you upload the back of the photo as well? Because the information next to the digital photo upload tab shows different information. 50x70mm is only required for Canadian citizenship certificate. 35x45mm for express entry. So this information and the information on the IRCC website is contradicting.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. In the link you shared, click on the online application and view the print specification pdf..it says 50x70mm.

There are no print specifications for online application which makes sense. Print requirements are only for paper applications which is not applicable at all for the express entry.
