Did he filled the form to be contacted? When I did, they called me the next day.

Also, my brother is still waiting to hear from immimed for a medical appointment. Has anyone gotten a medical appointment scheduled in Bogota in the last week?

Hi All. I hope ye are all doing well and things are working out for you and your families . Has anyone come across any information on any family members that have received the visa and landed in Canada. We are making plans for family to now travel as they have being accepted. We want to help them find their feet and we are wondering what financial assistance is the government providing? If anyone has any information I would appreciate if you could please share with me. Thank you very much .

Hello!

I think if you checked on the section for IOM assistance when you filled your IMM5989 Form, you will be contacted if you are elegible for Transportation Loan. This is my opinion, but not my experience since we have not been aproved yet.

I would contact IRCC if I were you, I applied for 4 of my family members on Dec 23, still haven’t received any response yet my guess is it might be still early, but for your case it’s different.

Hi everyone, If a family applied through this pathway program and the application is in the processing. Main applicant is husband but the wife has a US visa, can she apply for asaylum in the US or Canada? And if she does in Canada, do they have to withdraw the pathway application or both can go together since the main applicant is different on each situation.
I appreciate any feedback.

Hello,

Please help am so scared!
1- The policy mimics the one that was published in November 2022 for Colombian, Haitian, and Venezuelan nationals with some slight differences.

Link to the policy for Sudan
I need help from those who are very experienced.

I need help regarding ANNEX C- FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS I am the anchor.
I will be utilizing Option C meaning using NOA from CRA for 2023 & depositing funds in an (in-trust) account.

My specisfic scenario:
The number of people escaping war in Sudan and those in Canada is 8 persons.

LICO 2023 Before Tax required for 7 persons or more is $72,814
income made in 2023 CAD $71,114
CAD $1700 difference between income made and LICO amount required to cover & persons or more.
in this case how much money do I need to add to the in-trust account??? is it just CAD $1700?

Or do I go add $9,900 for the 8th person in the in-trust account? as per option B? or do I add $1900 + $1700?

Also, those who did this before do you have any advice regarding the proof from the bank? docuemnts? anything I should be aware of?

Regarding the Statutory declaration anything I should be aware of? Does it have to be notarized in person or can I do it online?

any mistakes made in previous similar programs I can avoid?

Any general advice? I was traumatized by IRCC during my PR application & was sent to RR my file was forgotten for ages, and I need to avoid this as much as possible; the situation is dire here!

Thanks!

That was not a requirement for the Venezuelans, Colombians and Haitians. Nobody here would be able to help you with that. We were only asked to submit background checks at the time of application and proof of relationship

We did it in person in Canada with a notary. I’m not sure if it’s applicable to do it online contact a lawyer (they are all notaries) and can help you with that question.

The anchor who does not meet the minimum necessary income requirements described under Option A or the minimum necessary funds under Option B must have funds held in an in-trust account of a Canadian financial institution accessible to the foreign national once granted permanent residence at least equal to the minimum necessary income required, as calculated under section 1 of Option A, less the anchor’s total income, as calculated under section 2 of Option A.

- As you mentioned you need to open an informal in-trust account and deposit the fund of CAD $1700.

All the best

Hello everyone!
I submitted the application on november last year, and besides me (the principal applicant), I included another family member. We (the anchor, the other family member and myself) submitted all the required documents and received the AOR on january, but the other family member was not included on the list provided in the AOR (we were never informed about any kind of issues with any of the documents we submitted). Since then, I have e-mailed twice the IRCC to inquire about why was that member excluded, to no avail.
So far, only I have recived the mails pertaining the medical evaluation, biometrics enrollment and, just today, the RFV letter, in which they require some other documents and mention family members, but only mention directly the name of the principal applicant and no one else.
Has anybody else been in the same situation? And if so, did you manage to convince the IRCC to include another family member (who was already included in the main application and who submitted the proper documents)?
I'd appreciate any help you could give me about this issue. Thanks in advance!
