Hi All,

I have had 3 different positions in the same company.

1. Trainee Engineer
2. Executive Engineer
3. Sr. Executive Engineer

Could you please advise if I need to enter these three as a separate entry in express entry profile? Or I can put in just one?
Also, Do I need separate reference letter for all the positions? NOC code would be same for all.

Any help would be appreciated.

No - If job duties remained constant.

Yes - In case of separate job duties.

If Trainee Engineer dont fall under TEER 0 to 3, do I need to add it to express entry profile?
Most organizations only mention your last/current designation and the related job duties in the employment reference letter. However, in case of separate set of job duties for each role, it has to be mentioned separately. Hence, same rule goes for the Trainee Engineer !

So, if it doesn't fall under the selected NOC code, then you have to make a new relevant entry, otherwise not needed.

Is it okay if I don't mention about Trainee Engineer position in express entry profile at all? Because anyway I will not get any point for that.

Hi everyone,

I will create an express entry profile soon and need some guidance.
I am working from May 1st, 2022 with my current employer.
Recently, I got a promotion and my job title has changed but job duties fall under the same NOC code.
My office location will also be changed from Montreal to Ottawa next month.
I wanted to know if I could mention a single entry in my work history and put the Ottawa office address.
Please share your suggestions.

Thanks!

[Urgent Request here] is it okay, if we just mentioned the current position? the previous one is like promotion and do the same job duties and under same NOC. Thank you!

Yes, it's normal. Make sure to break down the tenure in the resume.
