This process from Student to Citizenship is the most stressful thing I have ever done in my life lol. No update to my citizenship app from April 11th. Long wait for LPP
My background check was 9th of April. LPP in progress and I don't even need to do the language or test part (over 55). Just have to sit and wait, as the processing time is apparently 13 months.- russ6970

Why Exemption from Test Over 55?
I could have applied before my 55 birthday, but didn't, as I didn't need to to do either the citizenship or language tests. I applied at the start of January this year. Had my AOR, fingerprints and background check completed so far. Does the application go quicker, as we don't need both tests...- russ6970

Took about a week after my AOR, to get the email to set up the tracker and then a couple of days after that it worked. You cannot create the tracker until you get an email asking you too.- russ6970

I believe everyone has to get fingerprints. I think it tells you on the website what to do it you are outside Canada.- russ6970
