woow $4500 is way too much for lawyer fees. Usually the fees between $500 to $700 per applicant for protected person PR application. Anyways, you cant link temporary number as yet to the PR Portal as mentioned in the same letter that the number XG just temporary and you need to wait for...- PP2CA

Yes Your calculation is incorrect because pre-PR time is counted as half days up to a maximum of 365 days, not just from protected person status. In this case, the person has enough pre-PR time to hit the full 365-day cap. So the correct total is: 365 (pre-PR capped) + 618 (post-PR) = 983...- PP2CA
