Have you requested notes from CBSA? CBSA notes will show the status of Security check. I had the same response from the MP when I reached out to them in June 2025, and when I received CBSA notes, Security had surprisingly been cleared since Feb 2025.- nikunjnagalia

Seriously speculating, and without reading into it with actual facts, I believe this has got to do with the file location movement. The last time I got the GU back in March was when the file was transferred to Vancouver from Scarborough. It could very well be a movement back to Scarborough. But...- nikunjnagalia

Best way to find out is if you order notes from CBSA. They will send non-redacted notes, which will show whether Security has been cleared. In my case, Security was cleared back in Feb 2025.- nikunjnagalia

I don't think it's the timing of the application that should be questioned here. IRCC has reduced it's workforce by half. Processing times to generate the AOR has gone up to almost a month now, which used to be 15 days. While some applications will be processed faster than others, that's solely...- nikunjnagalia
