    I lived in NL for almost 10 years, so I always check for ceremonies happening there, but they are very scarce these days (https://secure.cic.gc.ca/CeremonyCeremonie/en/Home). Chances are your ceremony is going to be online, but you never know.

    I just checked, and I requested an e-certificate when I filled out my application, but I was offered an in-person ceremony. It is my impression that they will disregard your answer to that question and offer whatever is "more convenient" to them.

    It depends on your office; someone in this forum got invited to an in-person oath in Calgary ended up having a virtual oath just after a month from the original date. In my case, I got invited to an oath in Ottawa on June 5 of this year, and I haven't received any update.

    I really don't think that there is much you can do. You can certainly call and ask for possible reasons why it is taking so long, but they will probably give you a random answer and ask you to wait. May I ask you where you are located? this probably influences the wait period, but, not sure.
