Officer asking to confirm current residential Address.

I am in Canada and we applied in October 2020. From the GCMS notes we realized that they asked our address to confirm that we didn't need to redo our medicals but apparently they may ask that for other reasons. I applied in October 2020 so.... we were waiting a loooong time. We didn't write...

Officer asking to confirm current residential Address.

I don't know why they are asking this specific information because it was declared on the application and, in our case, we haven't move since we applied. It was at least a relief to see some movement in our application. Now, regarding your problem proving your kids address, I wouldn't worry...

Officer asking to confirm current residential Address.

My son is also a minor and I uploaded his transcripts, those had his address. We didn't submit our IDs but we used power and internet bills that are under our name. I suppose that even a lease that discloses the people leaven with you will suffice as well.

    >>>>>>>OCTOBER 2020 AOR<<<<<<< Join here

Same here, applied October 13 2020, medicals are expired since October 19th and nothing has happened since, not even the medicals extension. Getting desperate, to be honest. Our permits expire at the end of this month and January so we needed to pay for new permits but even that is taking forever.

Hello, Cancel the application, if they haven't done any progress with that application, you have the chance that they may give you the money back.

My husband and I applied last year on October 13; he is the principal applicant. However, we had some problems with his criminal record; we managed to get it just until July 22, and so far, we haven't got any update since then. We ordered GCMS notes, and our timeline is this: AOR: October 13...

Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

I finished my Ph.D. program in October, applied the 16 of that month and got my approval letter the 13 of this month. Still haven't received the work permit on mail though. Did you send an official transcript? I realized after applying that submitting a non-official transcript may delay my...

Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

From what I understand, if you apply within Canada, you need to apply for a TRV separately after you receive your PGWP. I have seen in other treats here that the TRV just takes a couple of weeks if you are a PGWP holder. I am not sure about PGWP from outside Canada.

Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

But you can start working without the actual PGWP, usually, you just need to provide a copy of the PGWP submission letter and maybe if they are not aware of the regulations you can point them to the CIC web page.

Visitor visa for an International Student son

Hi, thanks for your response. I am worried because I am not sure if they will allow my son to come back to Canada with me. You are right, if I am planning to apply for a PGWP my absence will not affect it, however, I am worried that my son's status is causing me a lot of headaches. Respecting...
