Guys, for those of you who did the landing recently: have they the immigration kept your work permits? I'm organizing my documents and realized that I don't have the work permits with me. I think they've kept it - which would make sense - but wanted to check if that's the case.

Decided to do the landing last night, but got home too late for a reply. All good, we're now officially, landed immigrants :) Took us maybe 20 minutes, just like with @Smearingo. Only question not on the book was: why are you here so late? Bank statement was enough for proof of funds. Nothing...

That's super lucky... I got there 1 hour before they opened, had to wait the hour until opening hours and then half an hour to do the whole thing.

But be ready for a long wait :(. RAMQ is usually very busy.

Got CoPR!! Hey @Smearingo, I have a question. The documents I've received say that my Permanent Residency is valid only until the sticker on the passport, which date says July 2017. Does that mean that we'll have to ask for a renewal after that, or does something change after you do the landing...
