    Were you in the comprehensive check? As far as I know people get the P1 usually in a month after everything is completed. Calling IRCC might trigger the next step at this stage in my opinion. Some cases the email might be in the spam folder or completely lost so you should definitely call to...

    Yes it is. The beyond investigation will be handled by CBSA&CSIS considering the concerns IRCC mentioned which I have seen always A34. So you will get 99% your PR but waiting for a long time :(

    So basically. GCMS does not provide much info about the progress. We would only know about we are in a compherensive check and whether it is completed or not.

    It is said that it takes around 12-18 months. However, I have seen many people in compherensive check but no one sent a message to inform that their background is completed. :(

    Yes exactly the same. Normally we should have got FD at that time but instead IRCC sends it to CBSA for further check.

    Then I suggest you to get your GCMS notes, it is likely you are in comprehensive check. I am in as well since January. Usually it took a year to get a final decision after security check has started.
