Did you happen to order CSIS notes before they stopped sending them? Have they confirmed that the security advice has been sent?

The reason I am asking - there are some mentions that CBSA and CSIS could do the screening at the same time and that « In progress By CBSA » status might not necessarily mean the end of CSIS processing. This however is not supported by the immigration control diagram released a while back by the government so it’s hard to say - wishful thinking or reality…
Yeah… After 30 days you can send them an email with your temporary tracking number to ask to expedite your request. It would take another ~2 weeks to be responded and you will have your notes 3-5 days after their acknowledgement of delay.
So basically. GCMS does not provide much info about the progress. We would only know about we are in a compherensive check and whether it is completed or not.
My understanding is the status changes to In progress by CBSA once the CSIS portion is done. According to the immigration control diagram, CBSA will start their assessment only after receiving NRT/security brief from CSIS. However, it’s impossible to know if somebody from CSIS/CBSA actually opened the screening request and waiting for information from 3rd parties or it is just stuck in a endless queue…
"In Progress by CBSA" does not indicate the CSIS portion is done. I've ordered my notes and 20240501 already shows "In Progress by CBSA" for security check, but 20240730 CSIS still shows "You Security Screening case is still in progress, Then information has been exempted ..."
Interesting… Did you wait several months for the CSIS notes? When was the security screening subactivity created?

And you ordered your CSIS notes after 2024/04/15? I’m also curious how you managed to get the expanded notes, I’ve been continuously requesting old format but it’s always ignored…
And for the GCMS notes, what did you say in your request to get them in the old format? From 2022, they are sending an abridged version of the notes - no agent codes, no STS ref etc
Nothing special, just normal request. I made a exact same request (same wording, etc) on 20241107 and receive the new format. Maybe someone screwed up and forget to send the new format.
So technologically, the functionality to generate them should still be there. If In progress by CBSA doesn’t mean that CSIS is done, I find it hard to explain why there are people stuck in Received by CBSA status for more than a year. It might also not be a case of « one size fits all »…
