    Don’t you already have your CSQ? From what I understand, this announcement seems to be for people who are still waiting to apply for their CSQ. For those who already have their CSQ, I’m not sure it applies to us.

    Same here. They extended the medicals on May 1st, but nothing else has happened since. I ordered the GCMS notes around February or March, and after nearly two years, the background check hadn't even started yet !!! That's not a very good sign, especially since we all know the background check is...

    Omg! I thought that setting a quota for the CSQ would speed up application processing for people who had already applied, but it feels like nothing is moving forward. I really hope you’ll hear back soon :(

    I saw on the portal yesterday that they extended the medical exam until April 2027. I hope that’s a sign that P1 is coming soon

    I have a question regarding the work permit. My husband’s work permit expires at the end of December this year. When I check the processing times for work permits (new and renewal) on the website, it’s now up to 258 days! At this rate, his permanent residence might only be granted toward the end...

    Same situation here. Applied on July 24, 2024. No updates since Jan 2025. The background check hasn’t even started yet. Nothing has moved for over a year.
