CSQ spouse sponsorship inland timeline 2024

@ deranged and La_15, I would allow for approx 2 years since you first applied as that seems to be the norm at the moment for applications (without any complicated issues that may delay things further). A group of us on the forum applying within Quebec received our PR cards in approx 2 years...

CSQ spouse sponsorship inland timeline 2024

Congrats! It's interesting, that's at least 4 people on here (including myself) I've seen getting PR inside Quebec within about 2 years. Seems like they've cleared the backlog from that period.

Excellent news! Congrats finally! It's funny but it seems (well in my experience), it's only when you're mentally at complete despairing point that you suddenly get the good news. lol. Anyway you can breathe a sigh of relief, I know the feeling!!!! You can get on with your life and make plans.

CSQ spouse sponsorship inland timeline 2024

I wonder why it's taking so long for you? It's been over a month since you got P2. Have you tried contacting IRCC to maybe check if there are any holdups you are unaware of? Just reassurance from an adviser to say "just wait" is often enough.

February 2024 - Outland Spousal Sponsorship

This is strange it's taking so long and apparently no progress being made. Also strange they (IRCC) are not responding to you. Since you are in Canada, have you not considered phoning IRCC to speak to an agent? That might give you some clarity. Almost two years is very long for a non-Quebec...

    Spousal sponsorship

Are you not aware of current processing times for spousal applications?? You won't get it done in 3 months, that's for sure! Check the IRCC website regarding this. IRCC will send you emails when they need you to do something.

    Spousal sponsorship question for QC

They will simply send the whole application back to you unprocessed if you send it before June 2026. So I'd wait till then.

Expected timeline for new outland spousal sponsorship applications after the pause is lifted?

To be honest, I don't have the answer to that because I posed a similar question here in this forum last May. Quebec applications simply take longer, despite the applicant successfully being awarded the CSQ. If the "estimates" quoted on the IRCC website (for Quebec outland) are 37 months (or...

Expected timeline for new outland spousal sponsorship applications after the pause is lifted?

Each case is different, and no-one here can tell you how long the process will take for individual cases, whether inside Quebec or outside, or whether there is a bottleneck (there probably is though). The length of the background check especially can vary from case to case. If you are planning...

February 2024 - Outland Spousal Sponsorship

No, haven't received it yet, but it was only a week ago when I got eCOPR. Hope you receive yours before then. I don't have any near-future travel plans fortunately and can wait for it, although it would be nice to get it within 2 months so I can fly back to UK and finalize my affairs there. (I...
