    I just looked it up, and you are correct. My apologies. I was under the impression that as long as the PA had a valid work permit when submitting their PR application, they would have implied status until FD even if their original permit expires. Good to know!

    They will renew your health card if you have AIP. I've done it. You don't need a work permit as long as you have AIP.
