    As of today (7th December 2025) my mailing address is marked as "Accepted by IRCC" in the Permanent Residence Portal. I've not had any ghost updates but I'm hoping it's progress at least. eCoPR was on 17th of October so I'm hoping my card will arrive soon.

    I just looked it up, and you are correct. My apologies. I was under the impression that as long as the PA had a valid work permit when submitting their PR application, they would have implied status until FD even if their original permit expires. Good to know!

    If she applied whilst being in status (I.e. having a valid work permit), she doesn't need to do anything else.     I would contact IRCC about biometric. I would have expected them to send out BIL by now to you. I did mine in February.
