You have to wait for IRCC to send you a letter confirming you passed eligibility as a sponsor and instructing you to apply for the CSQ.- hodari

I'm in a similar situation. I applied in Nov 2021, and the background check started in May 2023 - it's been almost 3 years now. Everything else is completed except for security screening for 1 parent.- hodari

It didn't do anything for us unfortunately, I tried last year. The application hasn't moved at all since then. I think I might have to try a writ of mandamus application as a last resort - even though I have very little faith it will work since CBSA has even less accountability than IRCC.- hodari
