    Applied on paper, was received 22 January by IRCC 1. called end February, they could not find my application 2. Called again 10 march, they could not find my application, received same day in the afternoon AOR by email 3. received new card 19 march

    So... finally an update! I called again today, again they were not able to find my application and I already contemplated sending a second application to renew my card... just now I received AOR by email !! I am relieved! Paper application, received 22nd january by IRCC

    Yes, but nothing... I'm scared to call. If they tell me they don't find it I would freak out... I read that sometimes you don't get any news, but the card in the mail... anybody experienced that?

    Sent by mail paper application 19th January, arrived 22nd January. Since then no update, no news... maybe I should have applied online, but I am old fashioned... my card expires in one month, I hope until then I receive my new card...

    PR card renewal and work history

    Hello! During Covid I was laid off from my work (not fired), I received CERB and unemployment payments. Later I resigned from my job by myself (which stopped the unemployment payments). My question is now: Am I considered employed during this time (being laid off?) or unemployed?
