    Yeah BG is pain the a**. There might have been a name match or you application might have been selected at random (like mine) for a security screening. All you can do is wait. I was in the same boat until the 25th. I hope the next batch update completes you BG.

    Background Completed: December 23 (Tracker updated on December 25th). LPP In Progress. I hope this gets completed in the next week or two. And then on to the Oath!

    Thank you! I actually submitted ATIP requests to all three institutions last week - IRCC, CBSA, and CSIS. The information from various social media sites suggests that CSIS may take several months or even up to a year to provide these notes. No accountability.

    True. The IRCC agent told me the FP part of my BG is complete but others are pending. Meaning, my file is likely with CSIS for a comprehensive check. At this point, the progress will depend on when CSIS finishes their check. I need to stop checking my tracker everyday :(
