    They can just submit a letter of explanation. Protected persons do not need to submit a police clearance from their home country, as this will be looked at as re-availment.

    Just resharing my parents' timeline Applied for PR on Jan 28, 2025 AOR & Temporary AOR and fingerprints requests for overseas dependents received in July 2025 Since then silence—no update. Tried everything sent in Webforms and still not able to link the application at all.

    LOL that’s exactly what I’m wondering too! The letter mentioned that, under the pilot program, applications are processed faster than the normal timeline. We also received the AOR yesterday along with the biometrics for both the applicant and the dependents.

    I don't see any problem, as you can sponsor them and should be quick compared to sponsoring dependents from outside.
