take the id (DL or PR card). Normally they do not ask for receipt, but just in case do carry that as well (the one that you received when application was submitted). Collection time is between 3 and 4.30 PM.- bond7890

police visited my house on Sep 9. So effectively 3 days. Status on BLS doesn't change at all. It will be "Processing at Consulate" until passport is issued and dispatched from Consulate to BLS. These are the only statuses that BLS show: On the day of submission: "In transit from bls to...- bond7890

if PV was done on Sep 10, I will suggest you wait until this weekend and then tell your family back in India to visit police station to inquire about the status. Any time before the PV is immaterial in this case. It can take anywhere from 2 days to 10 days for PV scan to be successfully uploaded...- bond7890
