This is so dumb. Interestingly, it says people applying today should be processed in 30 months which is less than the time it has already taken for us, not counting 7+ counting months that we still have to go. How stupid!- ali.tariq

I think it has to do with enhanced security checks. My file was progressing rather smoothly until nov 2024 when enhanced security began and the rest is history.- ali.tariq

Updated processing times published today - still 7 months left! it has been showing 7 months ever since they updated the processing time tracker. Interestingly, on 200 people appear to have their files processed since last month (I noticed it stated 11,000 people were ahead of me last month. now...- ali.tariq

I have never been able to check the status on ecas system. Only the portal where I applied the application. And for the address, I was able to use webform to update my parents address but never been able to update my address as the sponsor.- ali.tariq

c Congratulations on getting an update. If there is no way for her to get a PCC from India, I would write a letter of explanation explaining them the situation and asking for an exemption. It maybe an overkill but you may want to get that letter notarized. what's your timeline?- ali.tariq
