    No, we have not resubmitted the medicals. I am going to wait to be asked. You could do it proactively and hope that they process the application before they expire again.

    I know, its crazy. I know I received the invitation in Oct 2023 but by the time I submitted the application, it was either Nov or Dec 2023. Unfortunately, still long ways to go :/

    that's so weird. At least you got an update, so that is a plus. I don't think there is a letter that you get from the agencies. IMO, your best bet is to submit an affidavit stating that your father has never served in the military and hopefully that suffices. I would also order GCMS notes to see...

    I applied on Apr 6. They already had a valid medical so we didn't need a new one. No updates/correspondence since the appication was submitted.

    Yes, I noticed that too. I wonder if the processing time applies from the time that we apply or the updated ones? When I applied it was 22 months, then changed to 36 months for the longest time and now down to 26.

    Same. My theory is that the medical field goes blank after a year is passed since the last medical. In other words, it goes blank once the medical expires. In my case, it expired on July 19. How about you?

    finally got the notes that I ordered in April. Not surprised to see that the file is under "comprehensive security check". whatever that means! and who knows however long it would be. here is to hoping!

    Yes the visa is valid until the end of July 2025. I am planning on taking them to the US for a week and come back in June.
