That's been long hey , still heard from them in December but not with anything major .
The email they sent to me was just to let me know that they received all the documents that was asked of me and that was all , me just hoping I can get medicals soon .
I'm waiting for my passports to be stamped and I keep getting this as well, everyday but nothing's changed. Pls does anyone know if passports are only dispatched from IRCC on just Thursdays? Thanks. A lot of people in the same batch as me (Feb 18th) got their dispatch email today but I didn't
Since most of your batch are getting theirs I wanna believe yours is coming soon as well. I submitted my application in May of 2021 . I would ask you to hang on and soon u will get yours .

My sister u really don't wanna know for how long had been on this case, one must be mentally strong to go through the process . I just pray and hope that at the end of the day God in His infinite mercies grant us our heart desires in getting to the promise land .
Hi all, I’m a long-time follower of this forum. I bring good news! My Ghanaian husband just got his passport request (May 2021 applicant; outland spousal sponsorship)!! He’s been approved! No interview required!
A couple questions to the group…

July 2, 2021 Sponsor approval
July 28, 2021 Started processing application
Oct 12, 2021 – Medical request (but they forgot to include the attachment in the email! It took 3 weeks and a few calls to my MP’s office to get the attachment. No biometrics required because he had done them for a previous application)
Nov 3, 2021 – Medical completed.
Nov 15, 2021 – “Medical results have been received”
Then nothing, nothing, nothing until yesterday…
Mar 4, 2022 – email with pre-arrival letter, then the passport request email, one after the other!!
It was a long wait, but he is finally approved. With God, are things are possible!!
A couple questions to the group…
- He needs to submit his passport at the Visa Application Centre in Accra. Do you need to make an appointment? (He’s going to call next week, but I was hoping someone here might know. We’re just so excited… bursting!)
- How long has it been taking for Ghanaians (in Ghana) to get their passport back? We’re trying to mentally prepare for our next steps.
