You don't need pre-arrival before a decision becomes important. To me, preaarival is none essential...Showing you how to live in Canada is not a big deal because people are going to know anyways....It could come before a final decision is made or after and sometimes you don't even gets it at all, yet the person is still going to know much about canada after few weeks when they come here
A classmate of mine got hired also by IRCC and was asked to relocate to Sydney,NS and was placed in charge of some portions of applications for a particular country which I won't mention the name and I was like what the heck.....This guy is just there for the money so what at all will he be able to access and do for the benefit of these applicants other than to get his paycheck and use it on whatever!!! Some are hired to sit on files that they shouldn't be working on at all.....for other lives sake, no!!

The most annoying part is, other visa offices with more populations are giving spousal sponsorship approval in 4 months, 5, and 6 months time frame and you accra with less population takes forever to approve visa for people.....is it because they don't know that they are working with humans? The 4 years visa for these families just gets on my nerves...The Golden rule stays true, do unto others as you would have them do unto you
The waiting period is overwhelming and that's the reason for backlogs to me. An application can be left for several months unattended to and new files keep coming in. New files are attended to and old files becomes backlogs. I usually say that if this process will take 2 years for everyone and it's fair, everyone would understand at least you can predict when it would get to your turn. It's not fair how marriages are treated....

What baffles me is that, they are doing this to hurt fellow Canadian citizens who are sponsoring their partners. My application was filed in 2019 and I still don't know the way out, I had an interview at the Accra visa office in 2nd week of February 2022 and haven't heard nothing from them after. A friend got married to her uk citizen 2 months before I got married in 2019 and trust me, he's in uk for about 1yr 7months now. But I'm still here in Ghana and don't even know when I'm getting ppr. When you go for a spousal interview at American embassy, they will tell u if u will get approve or denied right after the interview and they will keep your passport after the interview, the next time u hear from them, u will be picking up ur passport. But canada is hurting families with their personal assumptions or thoughts to deny families and it hurt. I don't even remember the last time I had about 4 hours night sleep, having sleepless night with migraine but just try to wear smiles during day time. But really and truly, this is killing me softly. Honestly it hurt so bad to see old application been stuck up and new applications getting approved.

That is the biggest moves and mistakes I commented on the new immigration ministers message that, you don't bring in more problems when the current problem is not yet solved. You finish climbing one mountain ahead of you first before you try to climb the mountain behind the mountain you've not yet climbed....You finish with the backlogs first before starting to invite new people....That is so abhoring and disgusting!!!

You so right. I think all all the applicants waiting for our application from the Avo needs to come together and embark on a protest at the embassy of black stars Square and put some videos out there and tags the immigration ministers, the prime minister and others to let the world knows how the workers at the embassy are handling our life.. cause this is not just ordinary applications but our lives.

Lol....come down your spirit. You wouldn't do that!! There is a process and procedure and the right approach in a good way....No protest!! You can send out a message on different platform to get to the ministers and leaders but certainly not protest because I bet you, if you try protest, as a Canadian then, you are not coming at all....In a slow pace, gradually, things will loosing up for you guys to come to Canada alright.....I know your plea and cries which is hurting but let's give everything to time....Try no protest whatsoever....

2019 is long long.....I hope you hear something positive from them soon since you've had your interview already. Please rest well too, you even need it more now. They don't know or care if you are mentally drained already......best wishes!

Let me just keep quiet coz I noticed that no matter how we complained on here the situation still remains the same , been on this journey for a while right now and still waiting without any updates from Accra . The last time I heard from them was sometime in September if am not mistaken , was asked to submit my police certificate from two countries had lived in b4 which I did and after that I was asked to go and get my son's fingerprint done at their VFS Office which I did on the specific date that was on the email that I received from them and here I am still waiting without no clue of what's going on . My Father-in-law passed away some few weeks back and unfortunately due to this whole situation I couldn't be in Canada to console my wife and grace the burial ceremony of my father-in-law , but ain't nothing I can do from where I am to support my wife and the rest of the family. Is just so sad and so unfair the way they are handling people's lives in regards to sponsorship application and before u know it they keep making other countries believes that the merging together of families is really paramount to them but I can see clearly that is the other way round . We can only hope and pray that at the end of this waiting game that we all get the chance to go reunite with our various families IJMN.......AMEN .

That is not the other way round my brother...Accra Visa Office don't understand family. They say that just to dissuade people socially on their platform and am sure most of them doesn't have families because if they do, they will put themselves in the shoes of others.

On the contrary, why there is the delay is because you have a kid on your application and usually that takes long. So i will encourage you to stay and hang in tight, good news is coming.....Sorry for your lost.

But on the otherhand, if God has opened the door, I promise you they can't delay you in anyways since he makes all things beautiful in his time...

So go to Him and ask for approval first and let's see what these humans can do...

Thanks for your positive words , really do appreciate it alot .
Am actually a failed Refugee claimant , I lived in Canada for 3yrs b4 I was asked to leave the country and I did . Got back to my country of origin back in 2018 and ever since it has been kinda stagnant in terms of the outland sponsorship application my wife submitted on my behalf , in 2019 I went for an interview in Accra and the consular that interviewed wasn't confused that our marriage as at the time I was in Canada wasn't genuine enough after I went in for the interview with all the clear cut evidences and our marriage certificate which was issued in Ontario.
Àfter the negative outcome we decided to Appeal and it came out negative again , so we decided to give them a break for like a year while we try to work on some other variable options.
After the long break my wife now decided to put through another Outland sponsorship application in 2021 and that's what we waiting for at the moment and it's been pretty hectic but we thank God for He's been good to us with opportunities of meeting in some other countries and my wife had been to my country on two different occasions, so I really don't understand why they can't see that the love is for real and our marriage is genuine.

I still see some errors on your part
1.If you said you claim you returned to your country of origin then it means you are a Ghanaian and on a more serious note....Ghana is not among the countries that could claim refugee on immigration grands because according to Canadian law, Ghana is not part or among those countries
2.I think is too early on your part because there have been some red flags on your name and UCI number over the years so all your files will need a review seriously
3. If you file from ghana then it would have been better if you obtain your marriage certificate from ghana unlike when you were in Canada and used your Canadian marriage certificate.

Whichever, keep trusting and give time....Time will answer and this time, they will give it to you but they will have every document that has ever been on your file...Usually, files like your are assigned ro the experienced officers to deal with so.....the longer your miracles takes, the greater it will be when it arrives!! Keep trusting Jesus
