Hey FSWers

Here’s last update:
AOR: Sep 2020 — FSW inland with accompanying spouse
Eligibility: passed Nov 2020
Medical: passed Oct 2020, expired, passed again Oct 2021, reflected in my account Jan 10 2022
Criminality: passed Jan 11 2022 (GU)
Security: Not started
ADR: Schedule A for me and my spouse and military proof of exemption (due Feb 11 2022)
Jan 12 2022: ADR submitted and acknowledgment receipt was received by IRCC same day
Background check in my online account: showed non applicable since I submitted the ADRs
Feb 11 2022: Another Ghost update, but nothing new reflected into my account so far
——-
Anyone know what’s probably the next step, got tired of waiting !!!!!!! All the best to everyone !!! Fingers crossed!

When you say the acknowledgment receipt for ADR was received the same day, are you referring to the automated reply saying "We confirm the receipt of your IRCC Web Form via this automated response" or did you get something else?

I've sent an inquiry via webform and got the receipt on the very same day, but not an actual response after 10 days.

I hope next step is Portal Email for you!

After 1 hour of uploading the ADR documents into my online account, I got an acknowledgment email from IRCC that my documents have been received. That’s what I meant

My timelines are similar same aor same Vo, but I didn’t have any adr yet. Medical passed in my account on Nov 30th. I have no idea on criminality and security, not reflecting in account. Background still showing as in progress. I had got a GU on Nov 30 when medicals passed, no movement after that. What’s your aor, mine is Sep 4. Since you got a gu on 11th thing security is passed , you should have your portal mail soon.

@legalfalcon and anyone who can answer

Hi, I had a question about CBSA processing time. So, as per the MP who I contacted with reference to my FSW AOR Dec'19 application, everything was wrapped up including the security in Jan 2020. I got married in 2021 to my husband who is a PR, and so I had to update my file. As per MP, my security had been reversed and was restarted in November 2021. I wanted to know if there is any idea on the processing time for this? I am still waiting for my CBSA notes. My medicals were extended in Novemeber. Thank you.

It's anyone's guess. Could be done any day, or take months.

In most cases, security screening is wrapped within 110 days as per the Security screening manual. However, some cases can take much longer.

The Canadian government has just announced its Immigration Levels Plan 2022-2024.

Canada is increasing its immigration targets yet again. It will look to welcome almost 432,000 new immigrants this year instead of its initial plan to welcome 411,000 this year.

Some 60 per cent of these immigrants will arrive under economic class pathways such as Express Entry and the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Over the coming three years, Canada will target the following number of new immigrant landings:
  • 2022: 431,645 permanent residents
  • 2023: 447,055 permanent residents
  • 2024: 451,000 permanent residents
See here for the full break-up: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...pplementary-immigration-levels-2022-2024.html

It seems like there will be no more draws for FSW or CEC at least until June since they are planning only 56K for 2022 under these two streams. There are already approx. $60k application backlog under FSW and CEC. PNP allocation seems very good. We will see PNPs draws for few more months I guess.

these numbers are applications or combined family permanent residents like in one application there may be 3 to 4 numbers also

for example fsw and cec together is around 56k applications but total meebrs maybe around 150k also if this is the case then to acheive 56k target of pr maybe 18k to 20k applications may fill this quota of economic class

if this is the case then once this 56 k permanent residence memebers is filled they will not process fsw in other words then more than 30k fsw applications will not be processed. guys any analaysis.

Now all these ADRs make sense. They probably want to slow down processing because they have very few targets.

Hey Guys,
Is it a good idea to do an upfront medical now.
Your thoughts?

AOR Nov'20
Don't waste your money. For inland applicants, they will extend it automatically once they open the file. Even if you send upfront re-medicals, there is no guarantee that they will process your medicals until they open your file.
