Temporary file number (Self-employed)

Hi, my application as a federal self-employed person was received by the Immigration Office on August 24, 2020, and a temporary file number was issued to me. To date, nothing has happened in my case (about 18 months). I also sent all the documents in full through my lawyer to the Immigration Office. Is this normal and is anyone like me?

Join the Self Employment threads. This is normal as processing is about 36 months now.

It really is just a number. Any file is processed 'at its own pace'.
