It’s funny how they say it the software doesn’t reject you. But it does approve or not approve you. Officers when they look at an app that is not automatically approved by the software, will analyze with a bias towards rejection.

It may take time I guess. What if fingerprints aren't clear and you are requested to get another? Happened to some. I don't want to sound negative, but think what you got to gain from staying in Canada vs what you got lose to cross the border and give that damn fingerprints. You are closer to PPR. If I were you, I would have crossed the border by now to get my PCC done and throw it on IRCC's face. You know better.

A few questions:

- When I submitted my application I included an FBI Police Certificate and one from Japan, where I lived for a year. The document only seems to specify an FBI Record Check, but should I also go get another one from Japan? My fear is that Japanese record check could take 2 months, as it did the first time.
- In my initial application I showed proof of fund for accounts at two different banks. However one only has $150 bucks left, while the other has enough to meet the minimum. Should I still resubmit a letter from both, or could I get away with just one of them.
- Also this time they ask for daily transaction details? How do I show this? Do I just upload my statements from the last six months?

It's fine if your Police cert extends beyond 30 days. I had to do one that took 8 weeks and I just sent them a webform informing them of the delay. And then uploaded the Police cert when I received it. There were no issues for me.

Don't worry about comparing your PoF to your original, just submit the one account you do have sufficient money in. It does not matter.

Whether I understood right or not according to recent EE updates for pre-ITA folks...?
FSW 500+ -> wait at least 6 months or early next year draws will resume, lucky ones
CEC 480+ -> same...
FSW below 500 -> no chance till mid-2023 (maybe cut-off will drop), look for other routes like PNP, etc.
CEC below 480 -> same, but have to leave the country soon or renew status or apply for PNP.

I'm more like educating clueless outlanders who have never even dreamed of Canada before let alone lived there. Quite a few times people here mentioned how the info I share aligns well with their or their friends' experiences. The main problem of these prospective immigrants is they suck bad at statistics and doing their own research. They hear a very distant example of someone's friend's friend's friend's friend finding a good job in Canada in 2 months then they come here and seriously claim that's the standard. I have a few posts with actual research on Canada's job market, how it compares to other countries, how long it takes finding a job on average etc. I also share info about academia in Canada and North America in general, housing, social integration etc.

How do I know what I know? I've lived in Canada and have been a part of the Canadian society (not immigrants, I'm talking strong friendships with Canadian borns: white, asian, hispanic all sorts). At best, people here bring me shit from what they heard in their immigrant circles in Canada and I just laugh.
