He probably won’t turn the ship around, but he’s barely had time to enact any effective measures or implement change yet. He also inherited a poisoned chalice from the clown that previously held the post.
Sure, I'm not putting all the blame on him. I'd pity anyone who has to follow Mendicino's legacy, regardless of the post. But mark my words, give him all the time in the world, Express Entry will NEVER return to the fair system it once used to be. Even if it does, Mr. Spineless Fraser won't be the one leading the way.

Did I miss something? At no point in the memo do they say anything concrete like this. If they did, there literally wouldn't be a problem. They aren't being transparent, and have the inventory to keep things in standstill indefinitely. And don't pretend like when (if) draws come back, they won't immediately prioritize CECs over FSWs all over again.

No new intake means no draw untill mid 2022. This why so many folks are worried.

about that video and this memo
the VO's are sending remedial requests, does it not mean that they are intended for processing those applications?
secondly, this memo also points to stopping the draws because they have enough inventory to fulfill their quotas.
Processing will continue. Sadly, draws will be delayed except PNP draws.

In the memo it says no need of any draws atleast till the first half of 2022 because they have enough to cover the target.
Other than pnp
At this point ,I am not sure about your noc ,you should switch to pnp if you have an option waiting for draw will really screw you up.

The hilarious thing is that if they had just said all this publicly in NOVEMBER, people would have been fine. They still haven't learned the value of transparency.
They lack basic decency.

I posted once and no one noticed it at but even today I believe it don't have any proof but just logic.
These 5 eyes countries are getting huge amount of money through wes,ielts,tofel....why should they kill their cash cow by declaring they are done with fsw /CEC or whatever .

Look at US @RSub I don't know whether you heard it our Uscis friends even cutshorted the OPT time to 2.5 years instead of 3 (for stem) because of pandemic for 2021 graduates

What does FHS workers mean?Do they also include CEC or only FSW?
If it includes both, then there won’t be any draw even for CEC.Am I right?

Low score CEC guys are in trouble. They must start to look for a new job offer in NB or NS to get PNP with employer support until their status is expired. Unfortunately, it will be a paper-based application, so at least will be stuck for 2 years more. In the total waste of 4 years as outland folks.

World is becoming more closed. Look at Australia, NZ, now US and Canada. I still have suspicions over the Germany program. It is what it is

I will be really really surprised if they don't extend their work permit because what ever we say they are doing a job for a buisness and this businesses will face severe labour shortage if they leave. So if it have some microscopic level of common sense he will extend.

Not really. Presence in Canada counts partially towards citizenship. So their overall time to citizenship will STILL be significantly faster than anything FSWs can ever hope for going forward.
