You don’t have to withdraw. From what I’ve been reading - it will automatically be withdraw but we may not get a refund.

Has anyone reapplied for super visa. I applied for my mom's super visa in Feb 2021. Finally got biometrics done August 13. But no updates after that.
With the Sept 7th news, it is very confusing if we should reapply or not.??

My mother travelled to Canada on a visit visa few weeks ago. Though she applied for super visa from her home country, she received the request to submit her passport a day ago. Does she have to return to her home country to submit the passport or is it possible to submit here in Canada. If so, what is the process involved. I did not find any details on the ircc website or FAQs.

For Supervisa, You cannot stamp when applicant is in Canada, but it all depends . If IRCC was informed that she is in Canada then you could proceed. Also if your able to justify with proofs that she filed her application when she was outside Canada, then give a try.. I know people who were allowed and i know applicants who application was refused for stamping in Canada.. All the best.

Re-apply using IRCC portal. They are processing old applications very slow, new one's get picked up fairly quickly.

Hi everybody, wanted to update you with my parents supervisa.

Applied in August 2019, was rejected due to lack of financial ties (submitted the file with minimal documents)
Applied in April 2021, no progress
Reapplied on October 1, 2021 through the new IRCC portal - made a mistake - selected purpose as reunion with family instead of supervisa
Reapplied on October 14, 2021 through the new IRCC portal (raised a webform to withdraw the previous file and called IRCC in Canada to leave a note on the file for Delhi IRCC)

Following is the timeline:
File submitted - October 14, 2021
Medical request - November 27, 2021
Medical completion - December 1, 2021
Medical updated - December 17, 2021
Biometric validity letter - December 23, 2021
Passport request - December 23, 2021
Passports picked up - December 24, 2021
Passports received - January 13, 2022

Received 50% refund on April 2021 and October 1 files.

Hi, I appreciate if you or someone can answer. Do we need to prepare to separate envelopes for mom and dad passport stamping? Asking as they have got 2 different AWB number.

I have a similar case, my friends mom applied in Jul2020. he re-applied on new portal and got approval in just 1 week for supervisa. These 2020 applications i think everything is ready but stuck somewhere. Please re-apply ASAP.

Hello,
My mum came to Canada on January 16,2022 and her supervisa application is in process(supervisa was applied on new portal on November 27,2021 with upfront medical and biometrics). Do I need to contact IRCC and inform them that she is inside Canada. Do you think that they will issue her PPR from within Canada?
Anyone with similar experience, please help.
