PR processing for 2021

Under normal pr processing. The refugee file gets processed first and then dependants file moves to office outside Canada and gets process there

Pilot is launched so both applications stay in Canada and gets processed here. It should be faster processing the max time is 1 year if everything is correct then it should be done by 6-7 months

Wow! I thought as much. That will be fantastic if it’s done within 7 months.

My ECAS

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 13, 2021.
2. We started processing your application on December 2, 2021.

My wife got an email on December 8, and she submitted documents on December 18 via Webform.
I have not received any email since I received the temporary number email in May 28, 2021.
And so far I have not received any news

I submitted documents and forms via webform on behalf of my wife and kids and got 3 auto responses but nothing else so far!!

Will they acknowledge the receipt of documents and forms?

I don’t know but I could never see the status of our application on ECAS, I tried by choosing Refugee then protected person then UCI, family name date of birth place of birth, even tried application number etc etc but nothing worked!
Any advice

Is your application in process yet? If it is and you can’t see the status then did you accidentally click on remove access?

other option is to link your application to your GCKey account online to see status

third option is a webform you can say i can see nothing on ecas and would like to know the status

Thanks a lot for your response, I just submitted supporting docs and forma of my dependents on Thursday so I’m not sure if it is in process or not.
Yes I already have linked mine one in my GCKEY and it says that application is in process whereas I created a gckey for my wife and tried to link her application with the UCI and application given by IRCC but it didn’t work.
One more thing that I chose Sponsorship and then spouse, children living outside of Canada while uploading required forms and documents via webform so did I choose the right option??
And how long will it take to get confirmation of receipt of those forms and docs which I sent them via webform?

i choosed refugee and convention refugee because i think its still part of a refugee pr thing. I think category doesn’t matter as much as long as uci and application number is there

yes they did reply, even if they don’t then they still will upload the forms.
you can always send another webform to ask them if they received it or not?
