PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

So i got my PR card today (12 Jan 2022). PR card was mailed on 6th Jan. But did not receive my wife’s card. It was also mailed on same day. Hope to receive it this week. My location is Toronto, ON.

Hi All,

My application reached IRCC Sydney on Sept 21 2021. I received the AOR on Dec 07 2021. But in the AOR its mentioned the Application received on Dec 7th 2021. As I could see from earlier updates the Application received date in same as the application delivered date(postal delivery date). Has anyone had same issue. Will the application now take 4 months from Dec 7th 2021?

I called CIC today and the lady on the phone was nice enough to help me. She said she doesn't see any notes/updates on my file so she has contacted the office to look into my file. At the very least she said it will get someone to open my file. At the very best, I might get my card soon. I will follow up with them in 3-4 weeks if nothing changes. I would suggest you call them too and ask for updates. 6 months is a lot of time when the processing time states 60 days so this is kinda frustrating.

How to call them? It is way too long. I have mailed my PR for replacement on July 7th. AOR October 26 processing started. Nothing after that. I understand, that avoid non essential travel, but I had PR card it is a changing the name. I need to apply for citizenship. Does anyone know the phone number, as the one I call had only robot information. Pressing 0 does do much

Any idea, by when I will get the card in my mailbox (after how many business days, roughly) ? PR card is mailed on 11 Jan (as per ECAS).

Hello guys .. I sent my renewal application on July 2021 got the application back on November with letter that my picture not acceptable and I have to send new one .. so I sent the application back with new picture on November they got the file on November 29. Since that day I heard nothing n no online status .. is it possible it can take longer than online processing time ? Anyone has my issue ?

Yeah sure, I called the number that's online (1-888-242-2100) and then hit the following keys:

1 → UCI# → 1 → 1 → 1 → 3 → PR Application number# → 1 → Birth year → 1 → 1 → 0

After hitting 0, you either will be put in a queue if there is a spot or it will say that the agents are busy and will ask you to try again. You can try again until you are put in the queue.

I just explained her that it's been more than 180 days for my initial PR card application but the online processing time says 60 days. It is literally 3 times what they claim on their website and I would like to know what's going on with the application.

I think I either got lucky or she basically made up stuff to sort of pacify me. Either way all I can do is wait couple of weeks.

In the past I had an agent literally say that he can't even access my file and there is nothing he can do about my application. He just asked me to wait so there's that. YMMW.

Sorry if the question is repetitive.
I sent out my renewal application in early November 2021 and I still haven't heard back (not even the AOR). Is that normal? Does it take so long for them just to let me know that they have received my application?

Adding my timeline for more DP:

Mailed application on October 22, 2021. Silly enough did not add tracking to my mail and have agonized over this throughout Christmas!

Finally received my AOR on January 11, 2022:

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on October 28, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 11, 2022.
3. We started processing your application on January 11, 2022.

I do see Decision Made in my application status front page, but date when decision was made was not stated in the details of an application. Hopefully all is good, fingers and toes crossed. Will update this post when I have further updates.

Here is my timeline for Renewal of my PR Card:

3. We started processing your application on January 13, 2022.
4. Decision Made Jan 14, 2022

Does it mean that the processing time is 128 days from Jan 13th 2022.

Hi there. Just need to ask I got my AOR for pr card renewal on 10th Jan application send 22nd October . How can I check the status and how long it take after AOR

System update that PR card was mailed out: Jan 08 (A Saturday! So I am not sure when is the actual mailing date)
Got it in the mail on Jan 13 (Thursday) in Ottawa, ON.

Some info on the PR card did not match the Gckey since I have more than one citizenship, but the documents are all valid so I guess there is no harm.

My CoPR was issued a year ago in Jan 2021, so I am just glad I finally got it.

Things moved quite fast this week
I got a decision made over last weekend and today Jan 12 , the application is complete and PR sent by mail
My 2 Children changed from In Process to DM
Wife not yet , still in process

But they gave me one year renewal only
Anyone with similar situation ?
