Can i request for an extension of medical for my mom? Deadline is on the 30th, and nothing is available before that date (Philippines):(
Yes, send an email to your Visa office and also you can send message by IRCC Webform.
Book the appointment with physician when it is available.

Hello,

I filed paper application and can not link with online application.
But by (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/viewcasestatus.do) link I can see the status of my parents PR application and it is showing

3. Medical results have been received.

Does this mean my parents medical is passed?

Thanks in advance.
That line no 3. means medical passed in ecas. You can see the date of medical pass in MyCIC.

I received the reassessment of my proof of income letter. The letter says:
"
Prior to the finalization of the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s), the
reassessment of your eligibility as a sponsor is required.
If you have a spouse or a common-law partner, you are eligible to include him/her in this application
as a co-signer, provided that he/she meets the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee
Protection Regulations section 132(5). Please note that the addition of a co-signer is not required.
Should you wish to include a co-signer in your application, you must submit the following:
 An updated Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)
form that has been completed by yourself and your co-signer. The last page of this form must
also be signed by yourself, your co-signer and the relative you are sponsoring.
 An updated Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship (IMM 5768) form
completed by yourself and your co-signer.
You must provide the following documents:
For proof of income requested below, provide documents/information for the following years: 2018,
2019 and 2020.
"

My questions are:

1. Can I use the proof of income on the CRA website? It seems is not option C format. Is that Okay?
2. I have a co-signer - my wife. Do we need to sign IMM 1344 and IMM 5768 again??

Thanks so much!!!

1. Proof of income itself is Option C that you can download from CRA MyAccount.
2. Both of you have to sign IMM1344 and Financial Evaluation Form.
Take it easy and fill the forms without rush to make everything clear to the case officer.

Hello

We got Alberta Health Care Cards for parents and along with that we got some forms to apply for dental/eye care benefits. It says financial assistance on the top of the form and its given to seniors with low income.
I am not sure if sponsored parents are eligible for this or it is considered social assistance?
Does anyone have information about it?

Hi,

Hope you guys have a wonderful holidays.

I just wanted to seek your advise regarding my mom's application. I applied her on PGP2019 and we are still waiting for the decision made.
The last movement on her application is the repeat medical which was approved on Oct 19, 2021.

She is currently with us in Canada. However, her visa is expiring this January. Do you think it will be better for me to change her address to here on her application? However, would she still be allowed to stay if her visa expires?

Appreciate your help on this.

You have to get (or apply) an extension for her visa before her current visa expires. You should get the address changed, especially if she is going to stay here.
