Man truth be told Autism is genetic. It may not be inherited, but it is genetic.
Thats why I said, it could be a mutation too. Rest, god only knows.

Devil knows! between Canadian immigration, job search and settling here, there could be a lot of stress for a person. Not to mention, pregnancy was one from hell. She was not able to keep one morsel of food or a mouth full of water down for almost 7 months.
I am hopping that your family will be all ok.

Actually post Eastern Bloc people tend to be hard working folks so most of us will get by. We have relatives in Australia they told us that locals are well.. not the most hard working people (politically correct phrasing) so us post Eastern Bloc people can actually accelerate our career if we keep delivering the same standard of work we did at home.
I can only imagine how much stress it can bring people to move there without any job. I understand that and its pitty that only few of us is getting a chance of landing in Canada with jobs in their hands.

I believe Canada is probably more open and aware than most countries so I think it is wise for you to move there. Your kid can have a happy and fulfilling life :)

You mean the age line? I know age has a strong corelation but is there a cutoff age?

We applied in September. They did not ask for his medical at all.

So i have done some research on this earlier as some one in my near family had the exact same issue. Their child was a canadian citizen but had a neuro-degenerative disease known as tay sachs. Their PR was denied, they asked them to leave the child in canada.
