I hope your wifi dies on you forever like how Boromir died on Aragorn.
My internet connection is more like Gandalf, even when it dies it comes back after 10 seconds in form of 4G.

I just checked some homes in Canada for sale ,The homes are super expensive.

In torronto a decent home cost min 800k wtf ,Vancouver I didn't even bother to check, edmondon 500k ,how are this people owning homes? Or are they even owning homes .in the way things are going I can easily see a melt down unless govt interferes. I think even if govt interferes there will be a correction from the current prices which can make people broke.
I think it is mainly due to low interest rates, to make matters worse blind speculation .

The only solution I can see is just move to some other cities other than torronto or Vancouver try to find a job like there are 2 options kill or to be killed and move there.
I think it is just the beginning of our troubles getting a PR because things seem super expensive, in Canada everything looks like California.

Check: https://www.realtor.ca/
If you click on one of the popular cities and the scroll down to the end, most have graphs showing average price and how it’s changed over the years. You might see a market that it’s possible to buy in the future. Right now the best is Calgary. It’s been stable for 10 years. Windsor doesn’t have data, but houses seem good as well. Sucks that it’s far from major cities, but if you are a citizen with free pass to the US, it’s not bad.

My point is look at the size of the homes you can't even dream a 3B,3B, in Houston a 3B,3B is like 250 k max in a decent neighborhood.
I understood when I looked at it some people not mentioning names don't have slightest idea about concept of economics such as inflation, supply, demands, speculation, market cycles .
What you said is right may be Calgary but still things are not looking good it is a disaster waiting to happen, It shows all the properties of a bubble and a correction.

Well, if you consider us$ To cad$ exchange. 250k is around 320k.
There’s this one in Calgary. 3B3B with a finished basement for 365k which isn’t bad. It’s quite ugly though lol.

But Alberta is mainly an oil based ecnomy, Even though crude oil use is not going to go anywhere anytime soon (correct me if I am wrong as it is your field),still oil based economies are not safe in a long run.
The house looks really beautiful

Yes, oil will most likely die soon, at least as fuel. Though it will continue being used in petrochemical. I feel Alberta will grow in the future, as it needs to move away from oil. You’ll see. It’s receiving a lot of immigrants and it’s bound to attract investment due to cheaper land.

Look at London, ON. If you plan on buying as soon as you get there. You can probably find good house for 400-500k. It has a good market for manufacturing. There is a Nestlé, catalent pharma, cargill, saputo(a medium sized food manufacturer). Then there are a few smaller industries like breweries. Toyota manufacturer is 30 minute drive in Woodstock and they need engineers constantly.

I have a solution for you: live in Canada for 4-5 years on PR, become a citizen, move back to the US.

US is great but visa restrictions for Indians is fucked up more than imagination. In 4-5 years every thing should fall in place after that again moving is hard.

You can live indefinitely in the US on a TN visa as a Canadian citizen as long as you have a job offer so just think of Canada PR as a long-term work permit and don't do shit like buying a house there. GC is not an option for us but who cares as long as you are allowed to work in the US.
