Not everyone gets approval in 12 months. Due to covid a higher proportion are taking over 12 months. All you can do is wait.

Thanks in advance

Hi there
My spouse sponsorship application is already passed 15 months. Amman visa office emailed it says:
In order to process your application, an interview is required. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, interviews have been delayed significantly. At this time, we cannot provide you with a date for your in-person interview.

please why interview is required ? does the interview is a bad sign? what questions supposed to be asked ?

Does anyone can help me in this situation please ?

Order your gcms notes, inquire through your MP. That is basically your only chance to find out what specific issues have come up.

My representative (lawyer ) submitted the application.
You are married for over 12 years with 4 kids, and IRCC is asking for an interview? This is an over generalization and just my personal opinion, but you must either have a very complicated case that you’re not aware of or your lawyer did not send sufficient evidence.

Either way order GCMS notes and find out what’s going on.

Thank you very much for your reply and I don't think so we have a complicated case because I am very simple person and I have never did any thing illegal ever never but I don't know what my lawyer have submitted it!!

That’s one place to start, ask your lawyer for a full copy of what was submitted. If you are going to an interview you should at least know what IRCC recieved.

1) Is there any way the office could waive the interview?
2) If some documents are not submitted or missed so Can we submit now?

1) They won't waive the interview if they have already decided one is needed. You will need to wait for the interview.
2) Yes, you should submit those as soon as possible.
