Hello everyone,

I have an offer (full time, contains my duties, wage) now and its not signed by the employee. Also it comes with conditions like I must have work permit(I have valid open work permit) and I must also pass the background check after its signed by me (I didn't sign that yet). Is it a valid job offer?

What do you mean by that?

Do you mean to get 50 points under Express Entry? If so, the answer is no. Your employer needs to get an approved LMIA.

Hello Scylla,

Thank you for the reply, because I am returning to Canada but unfortunately I'm not fully vaccinated yet. As a open work permit holder I need to have a valid job offer.

Click on - Open work permit holders and non-optional travel. Do you meet one of the two conditions.
For the first one sorry but I'm not sure what "normally live in Canada" means. For the second one the only thing I'm not sure is that if my offer is valid or not.

Don't know how long you have been out of the country but it means showing a rental agreement (if you aren't vaccinated where would you quarantine), utility bills that you have been paying while out of the country etc.

If so then unfortunately no, despite I have address in Canada. So I think to go back I have to make sure is the offer I mentioned above a valid one. Like what "VALID" really means.

A valid job offer is one company letter head, signed and sets out pay, work hours etc. Also the links says you need a valid medical too.
